anyone else had problems with HardtopGuy?
Same problem here.
I ordered some stuff and he e-mailed me a few days after that it was out of stock. Since then i did not hear back from him (2weeks +).
I dont like someone not taking time to respond to his costumers. I now have to buy my service parts at the dealership and make this a claim at Paypal.

The problem doesn't seem to be IF you will get your stuff, b/c as most can attest, you always get your gear, it's WHEN will it arrive.
I've ordered from him in the past, and it's been great service.
Maybe we should change his name from HTG, to HMG (hit or miss guy)

Well I got my stuff today, May 26th after being ordered on May 7th. Everything was perfect though the box that held my bumper was crushed and it seems the only thing inside to protect the bumper was a thin layer of foam. But I'm gonna be a nice guy and blame that on fedex.
Ordered a Bumper, Tow Hook Cover, and grill. Order processed May 7th
May 10th..
My first e-mail to the sales dept. Waited entire day no reply.
May 11th..
1st phone call to Jeff. He told me that he did not have the tow hook cover in stock. So he says he has been waiting on it. On this day he also said that he should already be in his receiving area and he would ship my stuff in the afternoon.
May 17th..
2nd phone call to Jeff. He told me that he was still waiting on that tow hook cover that should have arrived back on the 11th. He said again that it should be coming in on that day and is probably sitting in his receiving area. He again said that he would ship my stuff on that day.
May 18th..
Tracking number received and is in "awaiting pick up" status.
May 20th..
Tracking number still in "awaiting pick up" status"
May 21st...
Tracking is still in awaiting pick up" status.
3rd phone call to Jeff. "Yeah your package is going to be shipped today. Sorry for the delay. We just moved into our new facility and fedex did not know where our shipping area was. So they never picked up the package when it was ready back on the 17th."
May 23th..
Tracking number finally updated left Ohio fedex facility.
May 26th..
Received package..
Any who my first experience wasn't the best but I will probably do business again. I was mainly angry at 2 things, where he claims stuff will ship that day and the fact that my package was sitting around for a couple of days and probably longer if I hadn't inquiry about it.
There is a possibility that he's either quick or can take forever. This guy has awesome prices. So if you don't mind the wait and a little bit of bs... then you should use him.

I've been considering placing an order with him, I really wish he would respond to some/many of these accusations. Most people are reasonable as modding is more a hobby than a NECESSITY. I assume a direct answer would satiate most involved parties.
I think it definitely has to do with his supply of goods, but it sucks when you order several things, some of necessity, like differential fluid that i ordered as well as the carpets, and since the carpets are on backorder, i can't swap out the diff fluids, which is frustrating.
