i dont have a video camera to record the sound, and refering to soozoo, yes it does make a similar sound to what you have described. To me it sound like the flowing of the exhaust. I honestly dont mind it..but it has made my j's exhaust sound real good. More throaty/racey. I have a tp along with everything.

 

what do you mean its going to sound like sand in there? that doesnt exactly sound like something i would want. how noticeable is this from inside the car?

 

To me, it resembles an exhaust leak. I checked it a couple times though, it's not leaking. It's kind of raspy. I'm on stock exhaust though.

Don't worry, I had a Spec 3 on my ITR. You won't be able to hear anything short of screaming with that thing on there

 

yea i also thought it was a exhaust leak, its just the characteristics of the header. I think the test pipe adds to the sound. I really cant hear it becuase the j's exhaust overwhelms it.

 

I will have a before/after dyno up when I get the HPC.

 

i got my polished header, test pipe, and exhaust installed. header is starting to turn gold which looks real nice. vtec pulls harder and my car sounds mean as hell

It takes a good amount of heat to turn stainless steel blue like that...is something wrong with your car? I've had mine on a week and it's nice and gold...nothing like that though!!!

 

I do alot of highway driving. So im consistantly at around 4k rpm 60 miles a day. That could explain it, oh and before i initally started it, I rubbed wd40 on the header
