Default AP1 with AP2 tails?

So my friend really wants my AP1 tail-lights and is willing to trade me my AP1 tails + $30 for his AP2 tail-lights (and $50 for his AP2 center console )...

Just curious on how good this will look on my AP1. Will AP1 headlights + AP2 tails look tacky, or does it look fine?

Yep. It's actually fairly labor intensive process and can take awhile. You have to cut out the metal support behind the taillights to make room for the ap2's. This isn't a plug-and-play procedure. With that being said, if you don't take him up on this deal, I gladly will.

Do it, I did it on mine. I also did ap2 headlights though. The cutting isnt as bad as some made it. If possible, trade harness' with him also. I got the ap2 harness with my tails, and I just cut my old one off, matched the wires up and soldered them, taped them up, and plugged everything in prefectly.

Yea the cutting process is simple if you make a template. I did this to mine as well. IMO the AP2 tails make the rear of the car attractive!

Plus not many people have the ap1 rear bumper with ap2 tails, so it's at least a little different than most.

Mine:

wow, it's a no brainer. AP2 tails are simply better than AP1's. Same goes with the console.

what difference does it make to have ap1 headlights with ap2 tails, you never see the car from both directions at one time you either see one or the other, never both.

That's a killer deal on the console.
