I’ve a 03 with 108,000 miles and a completely stock engine. I’m planning to upgrade the valve spring retainers next season, but I’d like to hear if anyone thinks they need replacing sooner or if there’s anything else critical worth checking now. Valves were adjusted 2,000 miles ago

 

You need to get pictures from a different angle.

We need to see your keepers/cotters to tell if they've sunken in at all.

Try to get pictures of each of the intake side like this:

 

As good as I can get with this camera. I will have to get something else tomorrow.

cant see all of them in the new pics but the ones that were visible look okay.

ap1 here, 135k and retainers and oil jets are on my list.
