Nice! I didn't even see this thread get revived last month. Reporting in, it's been what 6-7 months since I have done this and my grille is still staying in fine and hasn't moved at all. Glad a bunch of you took the information useful and it helped out!

I did it yesterday. Cost me $1.30 and 10-15 minutes. Thanks for the idea.

I will be doing this and thanks

We don't need to drill the bumper just the grill?

Match the clips to the size of the hole in the bumper?

^ Glad this is still helping people!

@Boyguan you will see when you take the grille out there will already be holes in the bumper in the right locations, so you are correct with just drilling the grill.

Perfect DIY, I wished I would of searched before I ended up driving some small black screws in to bumper to grill. But it still worked the same but my set up doesn't look as good as yours.

I need to do this to my grille but I am wondering what size "push snaps" did you use as well as drill bit? Where can I find these? I am having trouble trying to look it up. Also what exactly are these things called? Thank you for your help!

I purchased some clips from ACE Hardware before my vacation, I haven't gotten around to fixing this yet 'permanently' so in the meantime I just have 3M tape in between there which is holding up thus far.
