I was not able to find these at any hardware store but I found similar clips at AutoZone. They were labeled as exterior trim clips. I bought the smallest ones made for GM/Ford exterior trim and it worked beautifully!

So I looked and i see the holes on the side but on the bottom they look like slots not holes.

Either that or mine broke

Yeah you have to file off the tabs and drill a hole through the grill.

Hey,

If you look were I mark the holes with the drill there are two on the bottom and one on each side. I dont remember if the holes are circle or not but the christmas tree clip I used fit and secured them properly. If you post a picture I can help you more but I dont have any reference handy other then what I posted.

Love my TIGHT grill. No more embarrassing, pull up to a car meet or a fancy restaurant and my grill is pushed back against the ac condenser. The S deserves this mod.

great idea.
i can see that those OEM tabs are one way ticket built for a quick assembly process.
once you remove the grille it's almost impossible not to break them

Guys, had the same problem as this on my S2K and such an easy fix. Getting the right size push clips was a nightmare as i didnt want to drill the holes in the bumper any bigger.

Found this great site and Richard who worked for Honda previously sent me various push clips to try so a massive thanks to him and his company. Anyone else has this problem and cant find the push clips try http://vehicleclips.co.uk/
