AP2 LED Tail Lights

Interesting, mind saying how you went about this? I figured that you would bake them and pry it apart but I was worried about melting the electrical components for the lights so I didn't try

I did not bake it. Instead, I just drilled a very small hole on the top part, small enough to deliver CA glue with a very small rod. After the glue, I sealed the hole with black silicon.

I was hoping to finally find some good AP2 Led replicas, but it looks like I'll keep my Depo's...
And thinking about the warranty, I'm in Europe so if I order them, I will not be able to send them back...

Same problem here. Had these lights on my car for 3 months and then the ring fell off. I haven't found a way to open and fix it unfortunately, so I really don't know what to do about it. I am very dissapointed from build quality (hard wire them to work and moisture issues, too). I did the mistake to sell my AP1 OEM tail lights so now I have to figure out how to open and fix this. The left one seems ok by the way...

On the headlamps from other vehicles, there is a heated seal around the casing that you can use a heat gun (NOT TORCH!) to loosen up. Apply heat to the seam evenly and slowly, eventually you will be able to pull them apart. Its tricky because you want all the adhesive to be heated about the same and it cools quick! But it can be done. The other tricky part is resealing with no leaks to prevent fogging.
