AUT Cooling Plate Question
I think you should leave the OEM rad plate. Read my explanation with pictures please and tell me if my reasoning is flawed.

leave the plastic cooling plae...just cut a rectlangle out with a little hacksaw blade...sand it down...then put the AUT carbon plate on...you most likely will get a little rub near the hook as well as on top of the scoop...regarding throttle response or any gains i'd say there's nothing...maybe at high speeds on the highway...haven't noticed anything but i would make sense that after you make the cut-out that more air would eventually be directed to the airbox...in my case it really doesn't matter because i've got a K&N FIPK intake....for looks there aren't too many cooling plates that beat it...btw i think the best price i found was right around $140 maybe a little less...def shop it (seibon makes ones and there's another vendor that does also)
