back window cracked

Default back window cracked

my window cracked this morning and im thinking about replacing it with one of the new plastic ones from hardtop guy. has anyone done this before who is able to give any insight into doing this myself??

I can't be of much help... But this always scares me too. How cold was it?

I saw the write up for this DIY but its waaaaaaaaaaaay to much for me to do. So for now I just slaped on a big sticker where it cracked til I get a new soft top.

thirty degrees is not typically known for cracking windshields. did the temp change extremely fast or something. usually it'd be a cold drop overnight and a hot sun warming the interior quickly would expand the air and pop the the rear glass but thirty degrees is not an extreme cold situation...
