Default Backyard Low Mount Seat Rail

Anyone got these??

I would like to sit slightly lower down in my S2000...

#1 ...I want to feel more "cocooned" when sitting in the cockpit - will these rails achieve that?

#2 Also - will they adversely effect any safety aspect at all?

I have one. Great mod. I can see the tack and stop lights without hunching over. Do a search for past threads. Lots of info on them. They look stronger than the OEM mount, so I think they are safe. No way to tell for sure, but your belts hold you in the car in an accident, not the seat.

Check out what the buckle is bolted into.

I have them and they do help a bit. I'm 6' 4" and feel more comfortable in the seat, although I would love to push it back 2 more inches. But for the height, they are great.
