Backyard Special License plate bracket

Has anyone ever run into this problem? and what was done to solve this issue?

You could probably get some brackets from home depot and make your bys work.

I have the same BYS Bracket and I cut my liscense plate to use it. I knew I would have to do it, sense it was from a Japenese Manufacture and they never made a US version. (I actually bought it from someone who got it and did not want to drill holes in the liscense plate
)
Take a drill to the liscense plate = problem solved

It does solve something, it allows better airflow into the radiator. One of the Best videos had a comparo between stock and no plate which showed a big difference, I'm sure the rick's bracket would make it somewhere in between.
