Please bear with these newb questions.

My S2000 battery died last week and based on the recommendations in this thread, I bought the Deka EXT16 battery and PC925 terminal adapters. I understand that I need to connect the positive terminal first, but before I even get that far, I'm a bit confused about how the terminal adapters go on.

Do I:
-Screw in the terminal adapter first, then the bolt+washer?
-Or, does the bolt+washer turn the screw that's inside the terminal adapter?

Figured it out I used an allen wrench to attach the terminal adapter to the battery, then a socket wrench for the bolt+washer. My car is aliiiiiiiive!

My deka ETX-14 crapped out on me so I ran to advanced auto and got a bla bla -16 battery and it seems to do just fine. I'm replacing it with a lipo one though.
What's a lipo battery?
Lithium polymer?

How are the lithium batteries working out for people in the s2000?

All dealers? My OEM is losing charge too fast for my taste and I'll probably try a direct replacement.

My 1.5 year old, barely used/attached for 6 of those, pc680 has been draining a bit BT starts. I can feel a difference even BT 10 hour days at work. I left it connected when I left for a 5 day vaca and I bet when I get home its dead.

Flash pro data logs look okay for operating system boots but it does drop to 12.8 at times on the highway.

Ima redo some of my grounds and maybe add a couple.

Lipo probably means "LiFePO4" or lithium iron phosphate.

Advance auto rebrands Deka batteries. Don't know about NAPA, though.

I just picked up a 17 lb Braille lightweight AGM battery. It has better CCA than my full size battery which weighs 26 lbs, and has much higher CCA than the Odyssey PC680 a lot of guys are running. It lists as 475 CCA.

I don't know much about the long term reliability of the battery but the specs look pretty good, and much better than those really light batteries many people are using. I think 17 lbs is a good balance between low weight and still having decent specs. I wish I could afford a Lithium-Ion battery but maybe in the future some day. Braille makes a nice 6.6 lb Lithium-Ion battery

I made my battery a little jacket to keep it cool in summer months, heat from my Mugen header can be hard on the battery

I was really surprised how small these batteries are even at 17 lbs, they still look like toy batteries
