Since i didnt see a write up yet i decided to make one. My lazy behind finally got around to installing my battle craft quick release with my reknown steering wheel. I used the Works bell short hub for this install. BEFORE YOU EVEN ATTEMPT, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY.
Also you cannot fit the spirited cruise control adapter with this setup but may be able to get away with the steering solutions kit.
The work bell and battlecraft kit come with all the bolts and allens you need to install this. If you dont want to install the horn dont use the spacer provided by battle craft
1.Make sure your steering wheel is either straight or locked for you to take the center bolt out. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU EVEN ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE STEERING WHEEL!For my case of using the works bell short hub i put the steering wheel on for more leverage and in case i had to take the hub off again. Works bell gives you the SRS resistor with the hub and from here is plug and play. Gray is cruise control, the black for the horn(Hot) and yellow is the SRS with the resistor in. 2.I wasn’t supplied a ground wire but i had a custom horn button made for me and it included a ground and a horn centering ring. For the ground wire i had to sandwich it in between the base and the quick release hub. 3. Grab your hub and feed the + - wires throughout the center. After that make sure you sandwich the ground wire and make sure the other wires are in the way when you tighten the bolts down. 4. Admire you got this far with no issues lol 5.From here you can start assembling. Before i put on the quick release, I assembled the rest of the wheel, center ring and spacer. The spacer has provisions for momo, personal, sparco etc. 6.Make sure you feed your wires through before connecting the steering wheel to the hub. Once fed through you can connect the steering wheel to the hub. 7.Supply your ground and power to the horn button then press in the plastic tabs on the horn to get it to seat into the center ring. Momo flush horn buttons WILL NOT FIT! Make sure all your bolts are tight then you can connect the battery to see if the horn and srs work.
Now the first problem i’ve encountered is that since the spacer is on for my horn, the turn signal and wiper stalkers are a tad bit harder to reach but not impossible. Also you may have the problem of the steering wheel either canted to the left or right even when the steering wheel is 100% straight. Dont worry, most likely need to get an alignment done to correct this. Other than that im happy how this has came out.
FYI, they make extenders for signal stalks. I didn't bother for wiper side, as its used so infrequently no big deal reach to use. But signal and high beams worth it.
Amazon. Inexpensive. But it kept slipping as rubber eventually compressed, so had to use double sided tape.
I have super long arms, so this wouldn't work well for me. I'm using a stubby circuit hero hub, which puts my steering wheel at the same distance as stock.
My other S2000 has a longer, Checkered Sports hub.. It makes my shoulders ache on long drives because my arms are crumpled up. So I'm going to swap it soon.
I don't need a QR, though. So I can set up my wheel differently than other people who do need a QR

I got long arms so its not a problem just have to get used to it

Being 5’9 i usually always have the seat all the way back.I could see this being a pain for people who sit closer to the steering wheel. Without the spacer i would say the distance is close to OEM

We're all built differently. I'm 6', but legs and arms can't reach controls unless I have seat quite forward.
But then roof hits my head. So I have to recline seat (in addition to the bys rails that lowered seat). But then I can't reach wheel (plus I slide down under seatbelt from the recline).
So I added a 2.4" wheel spacer, which finally allows me to reach wheel without stretched straight arms or head in roof (though I still sit way too high). Also raised front of seat so I don't slide down.
I finally fit decently. Now only issue is shifter is a straight arm reach. But manageable.
Basic point here is many of us have to modify things in unique combinations to fit adequately, and none of it can be linked to persons height.
I'm 5'10, with a 34" inseam and like a +6ft wingspan lol. 2nd cousin of Dhalsim lookin mf
My S2000 with the extended hub has a roll bar...which means I can't put my seat all the way back. So I have to tilt it. I'm still kinda crumpled, but my shoulders always kill me after driving that car any distance (FIA race seat).
Just sharing is all. Obviously, my anatomy is my problem, not anyone else's.

If the wires are running straight from the hub and into the horn button, don't the wires stop you from removing the wheel and defeating the purpose of a quick release?
