Any idea how well this works for boosted cars? I am considering one.

http://www.berktechnology.com/shop/product...ID=100&P_ID=425

But you might contact them before you order. It seems like I read somewhere that they are back ordered.

They are a sponsor for this site. I dont know what Brian has going as far as incentives or member discounts right now.

The smell with mine lasted a couple of days at most. Since then, no smell whatsoever.

I am at over 200 miles and it still smells like a test pipe. Not quite as bad as a hollow pipe, but close. When I pull into the garage and shut it off and get out of the car I can smell rich exhaust almost immediately. Never got any smell with stock cat.

If I let it idle it is fairly strong.

If you are thinking about purchasing and metting Cali emissions, I would wait for a couple others to report. We don't have testing here, but I don't think mine would pass. I am pretty much stock everything else.

It is a nicely made piece, but I was expecting a little less on the fumes side. Maybe someone who has one that has been through a smog test can comment.

i checked mine and sometimes, i get a little test pipe smell in the garage. minimal, though. i ran a berk test pipe and the smell was many many many times more intense.

this thing is NOT legal for CA emissions.
