I have I,TP,E and soon to be 4.77s. Lookin to upgrade the clutch/flywheel next. I was thinkin the fidanza flywheel. not sure what clutch tho. car probably will never be boosted so i dont need anything super strong. Just stronger then OEM without that annoying ass clutch buzzzzzz... I heard ACT? i remember seeing a thread about this last week but I couldnt find it. I want it to grab hard, looking to be a slightly bolt on S , nothing major

I went with the HTG clutch kit, back when he included the comptech flywheel. Not sure which flywheel comes with it now. But the ACT PP is very nice. The clutch pedal is a bit more firm but not too bad and it grabs pretty quick. The kit also comes with a new stock friction disc which is more then sufficient for a NA car. I honestly wouldn't think you would need anything more aggressive then this kit.

As far as the clutch buzz. That comes from the friction disc. I have no buzz 98% of the time. For whatever reason, every now and then it buzzes but it's only for a couple seconds and then goes away.

 

uhhh ACT has a terrrrrrriiiiblleeeeeee buzz in an AP1
im running the ACT street disc with HD pressure plate and a Toda flywheel
I love it,besides the sometimes annoying buzz.

but yeah ACT is way louder than stock

I have read where you get rid of the buzz using the OEM disc with the ACT HD pressure plate but idk

A buddy of mine has the cusco/cusco setup and it has no clutch buzz although a very loud chatter off the line.

ACT has a harsher engagement than the cusco. The cusco engaged very high on the clutch as well umm anything else?

 

lol so what should i go for? remember just a bolt on S, just want something sticky with no buzz... so obviously not ACT ha ha
