It opens 99% of the way. You put a small plastic stopper on the bar where the trunk makes contact with the car and the problem is solved. If you don't, you run the risk that the part of the trunk is going to hit a part of the hardtop.

can the soft top be remvoved when you put your hardtop on? and can it be replaced easily for resale?

You can remove it, but I wouldn't call it "easy" to put back on. Or take off for that matter. But you can do it in a day.

mugen is heavier than seibon?!?! geez that better not be true. Isn't softtop heavier than hardtop with motor? otherwise where's the weight saving..

If someone wants to post some info up, I'll update accordingly... I wasn't in the market for one so i didn't bother researching.

I believe there's the Amuse, Spoon, and Mooncraft.... whatelse?

I just wanted to add that my Cwings FRP hardtop, painted, window installed, weatherstripping, and all hardware weigh in at 31lbs. Also lighter than Mugen CF, lol.

i think people have a hard time believing that there might be a product that is better than Mugen on one level or another.

btw, what did the CW hardtop come with? any hardware? what did you have to buy to get it to work? I'd like to clear up some of the questionable stuff...

also, fitment, any problems?
