Nice, but it has a optimal operating height and I think you're past it
definitely passed it. lost the manual.
it was corner balanced, height adjusted, and aligned by Darrin (westend alignment Gardena, ca)

for people that want to know how low you can go.

I have about 2 threads left on the coilover
I have plenty of threads left in the front... the rear can be bottomed out on the threads... and still be within the recommended height.

Im ridding on Pss9's and i can go a little lower... sitting around the 1.5" mark now.

I love them and i have the stock alignment. I think im going to get the UK specs done once i install my bump steer kit for the front.

i ordered it straight from bilstein b/c our company works w/ them. but i think most of the people do order them from tirerack. you should post your request at wtb section and and sponsor will contact you with prices.

nice set up. it seems as if we'll have a similar set up w/ pss9 and ce28n (i'm getting the matte black)

if i can scan the manual when i get mine, i'll post it up somehow. but i don't have a scanner. maybe i can contact bilstein for an electronic manual...

jungliano, let us know how you like it.
I'm still uncertain whether I should go with the H&R w/ my current Konis or the PSS9.
If I do decide to get a full coilover, it'll be definitely the PSS9s.

the reason that i'm picking bilstein over all other coilovers and other springs/shock set up is pretty simple.

1) bilstein makes and has been making oem suspension for many german and japanese car companies. so they don't mess around w/ the r&d. i trust their r&d over other coilover companies b/c i'm sure they did their homework of performance w/o sacrificing comfort
2) set of springs and konis setup would cost anywhere around $800-1000, depending on your hook ups. i was considering eibach w/ konis, but spending $300-500 more will give me the known reliability and the research that was put into the bilsteins.

3) bilstein spring rates are the closest to the CR spring rates. i can guarantee you that a lot of research was put into CR to make sure that the set will be optimal for the S. i know that the suspension setup is a bit different from my ap2, but i know that basic chassis is the same.

i'm not saying that other coilover and spring companies didn't do their homework, but knowing bilstein's lineage just gives me the assurance. many people told me to save the money and go w/ the spring/shock setup, but i only want the best for my baby, so that's why i'm going with bilsteins.

while others will argue how do i define "best", but i'm not here to argue just stating my 2 cents and how i want to setup my S.

i'll definitely give you some feedback once i install the coilovers, but fyi, i will not install this for another 2-3 weeks b/c i'll be traveling.

jungliano,

Your Alignment guy can set your car up so the tires will not wear unevenly. That is however less than a performance alignment. That means less camber and less toe.

Camber is what eats the tires on the inside on a street car. On a track car, the same alignment wears evenly.

So mine is a on the low end of the stock range, mirrored on both side exactly. Not just close. My ride height is stock, using PSS9. Houston is pot hole central, and too many 4" speed bumps.
Stratocaster,

Do you do any AutoX? I have the same problems as you with regard to speed humps, so I can't go too low, maybe stock like you. But do you feel reduction in roll in tight corners?

I also don't want a bone jarring ride. I think the OEM is pretty stiff as is, except for too much roll in AutoX corners on R compound.

I am contemplating PSS9s and/or a Gendron FSB. Don't know which to do first to have the best roll reduction.

PSS9 are great coilovers for the S2000.

I'm running at about 1 finger all the way around. I scrape the bumper sometimes, and scrape every once in a while over super tall speedbumps. You shouldn't go too low or you'll rub fenders, exhaust, bumper etc.

I got mine from http://www.morepowerracing.com/ and they matched the lowest price. You can also get them on eBay, just search for S2000 PSS9 and it will take you to the store. A few of my friends bought them there, no problems.
