Default Brembo rotor on AP1?

Hey guys,

I need to purchase a set of rear rotors for my 2002 AP1 with stock 16" wheels. I saw the plain Brembo rotor on partsgeek.com for $40ish and am wondering if this will actually fit with my 16" wheels. I have heard that they require 17" wheels, is this true?

Should I just get OEM rear rotors or can I rock these Brembos with stock honda pads?

thanks so much for any help guys.

There is an overwhelming amount of evidence on these forums that suggests most people, even trackies, use and standby the OEM rotors over most aftermarket applications.

For some perspective, I haven't ever had to turn/cut mine and I just crested 100k. However, i rarely use my brakes.

Point is, from what I gather on the forums (from people who are likely reliable), the OEM rotors are hard to beat; especially for the price.

That's my 2c.
Good luck,

--Matt

you need to have a 17 inch wheel for brembos big brake kit, not for their OE style blank rotors...those are the same spec as OE rotors so they'll fit fine

OEM's are overpriced. Any blank rotor will work fine. Especially for the rear plus you barely use the rear anyways

the only thing I hear bad about the brembo blanks are they rust and look like ass. otherwise it's basically the same vented rotors.
