brown burn mark on header

Default brown burn mark on header

i have a feeling this is a stupid thread but could find anything under search and want to be sure everyhting is ok. i was cleaning the engine bay today and noticed that my header has a brown burn mark on the top. i knwo the header changes colors being its stainless steel and it is all purple and all but i just want to be sure its not about to crack or melt a hole in it. thanks!!

It must be residue left over from the packaging material used, eg masking tape or cello tape or any other tape leaving behind glue or .....
