Default BYS Rails not adjusting!

Hey All,

I picked up and installed BYS rails this weekend. Great mod but I am having an issue with sliding back and forth... It doesn't.. Any ideas what I can do?

Mine has the same issue. I don't know of a fix for it.

I've had mine for 4+ years.

if:

1. your seat is set/slide all the way to the back.... the floor pan probably dug into the carpet and it's what preventing you from moving it forward. you will need to use your weight and "thrust" the seat back out while holding onto the latch.

2. your slider release bar could came off of the slider unlock/actuator piece. you'll have to hook the bar back on there in order to move it back and forth.

the above scenarios are what i've personally encountered. hopefully either one would help with your issue.

Your problem is not with the rail, it won't budge because the seat pan is stuck against the carpet.

I spaced the rear bolt holes with a single washer between the rail and car to allow the seat pan to just barely clear the carpet when pushed back. So far it's been good and the bolts still had enough thread to make me feel safe.
