Default CAI on AP2 bumper?

I have a 2001 with an AEM V2 or maybe V1 CAI. On the current AP1 bumper the CAI gets air through the fog light. If I get an AP2 bumper will the CAI get a lot less air flow?

Does your AP1 bumper have that area cut out? If not then no it wouldn't get less airflow since thats not an opening on the bumper since there is no OEM fog lights that were ever offered for the S2000.

That's not a bad idea. It wont catch a lot of debris compared to opening up the black area in the bumper right it front (though I have the filter cover on mine).
Are you able to take off the filter any easier?
