Hello,

Newbie asking a newbie question lol.

I am looking into getting a CR. I saw a couple around my region recently popping up. I found one that doesn't have a hardtop. I live in Seattle lol. So I am curious will any hard top fit the CR? Will there need to be any mod in order to do so ... etc?

Yes, any hardtop will fit and there shouldn't be any modification needed to fit it as long as the oem latches will fit on the hardtop.

Yah. The CR doesn't have come with a hardtop.

CRs don't come with soft tops, so if it doesn't have a hard top, that means it has NO top. Good luck with that in the rainiest city in the western hemisphere.

To fit a hardtop to any S2k, you will need mounting hardware. I would suggest finding a hardtop before you attempt to buy a CR without a hardtop unless you have a private garage to put the car in. Since Honda doesn't make hardtops any more it can take some time to find one for sale (or you can buy an aftermarket Mugen knock-off). I am also curious as to how/why this person sold the hardtop from a CR considering CRs do not have a softtop... I sure hope they kept it garaged or the interior will have been exposed to the elements.

A Spoon or Spoon style hardtop wont fit with the CR wing in place.
If you can't find an OEM top you could go with the OEM replica.
