--does the real Mugen require a hood cut?

 

aren't these the same ones that are on ebay for like 300 bucks, just lookin to save you some cash

 

are they? I have never really looked on ebay for performance parts lol

id go for the 300$ one

 

I have a copy (not the JHP/Carbon8 one but similiarl) I actually like it better than the mugen because the filter is re-useable/cleanable where as the mugen requires buying a new filter when it gets dirty

As far as performance I dont think there is enough of a difference to notice (if any)

i have a ? about this to...so it the end hole is at your front bumper does water get in there when on the highway and stuff?

water wont travel up that far and if it does its like a drop....not a gallon

 

yea no worry about hyrdolock with the snorkel style intakes, only full blown cold air systems with the filter down closer to the ground
