Default Center console install

I'm trying to get the center console installed. I'm having a hard time to get it to "fit". I can't get it to line up is there any trick to this or something I'm missing?

Make sure you've pulled up the ebrake as much as possible. I find it easier to start with the front, connect the harnesses and then get the rear settled.

It simply clicks in. Should t really be anything tricky about it. You're talking about the center console it's self right? Not the tunnel cover or something else.

you're prob being too gentle and scared you'll break something. it's so easy to take off and snap back in place

I agree, when I take mine off, to get it to pop back in place, I literally make a fist and punch it around the corners and then down the sides to get everything to snap into place.
