Default Clutch

Sorry If I'm opening a topic that has been discussed a thousand times I just cant seem to navigate these forums that well. I just bought a 04 S2k with 46,000 miles well and as is no warranty no promises etc. Well sadly the car now has 46,600 miles and I have a horrible burning clutch smell and starting to click. This is the first time having clutch problems in the 10 years of only driving manual. My question looks at Spec clutch kits and other companies. I do plan on getting more power in the car one day but am I better off taking the car to Honda and having them slap an OEM clutch. I see a lot of threads with people using Comptech stage 2 and only having problems so getting little worried about after market clutch kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated since i need this in the shop asap.

Respected members HIGHLY suggest only going with an OEM disc. Pressure plate is up for debate. Previous owner must have been hard on it.. even with considerable track time, OEM clutch can last well over 100k. Mine has 181k on it.

I've spent a lot of time looking since I have an AP2, though my clutch is still fine after 83,000 miles(I just want to be prepared for when the time comes) I'll be doing a lighter weight steel flywheel, OEM disc, and either a Science of Speed or ACT HD pressure plate.
