Default Clutch

Has anyone found a good clutch for a s2k that works well for street use but can handle the occasional beating from a supercharger? My plan is to have 7lbs of boost. I was thinking a stage 1 or 2, but I am not too sure.

For reals. But dont get the competition clutch stage 2. Smells like crap, engages weird, and chatters alot. I hear great things about Clutch Masters.

ACT HD SS, so far so good. No complaints.

Dont need one with just 7 psi on an SC, when you have plans for 10-12psi then consider it a possibility.

A lite weight flywheel will significantly increase your stock clutch holding ability and longevity as well just fyi.

No it wont. A light weight flywheel will only help with reducing drive line mass. You may notice a little better throttle response and possible some free'd up tq, but the clutch will still grip exactly the same.

if you have a higher geared differential you will. don't know about oem 4.10 gearing though but damn, with the 4.77s you definitely do. not entirely sure if it's slipping in first gear but any quick shifting between gears burns the clutch tremendously for a few seconds (more like 5 seconds)...

Most people go with ACT clutch kit.
