^^^ I stand behind my explanations on whats relative to clutch wear, I'm not going to waste my breath and get into a debate of gearing with you because I can tell that you have made up your mind already. I will reinforce for you though that the lightweight flywheel such as the 8 pound Findanza would be a very wise upgrade for you and am quite confident that if you had one to start with you would not be experiencing the trouble you have now with your stock clutch. That is the main point in chiming in on this thread. It gets overlooked allot when having to do with clutch issues. There is no reason your clutch had to be now going out at your power level with or without your 4.77 gearing, my guess is it was abused before you went FI and the power increase accelerated it. The stock clutch can hold much more power then you have when mated to a lightened flywheel. I wouldn't trust it to hold 400whp for long but I would bet on 350-375whp, that would be 10-12psi SC typically. I have not a sign of quivers at 325whp currently and that's with a 110k old clutch. Im busting the tires lose in 2nd gear at redline right now, Ive been boosted for 20k, no clutch decline. I run my car through its paces everyday so pussy footing is not a factor in my clutch wear. I will be bumping up to 10psi in a few weeks, I will be sure and chime back in and let you know if my clutch begins to slip.

while this may be true. heres my take. if you do the clutch later, theres more to uninstall to get the clutch out once the charger is in there. its an easier job to swap before the charger. also, lets say you can not accurately define your driving style. you pop the charger on, and bam, clutch slip all the time becuase you drive hard. now you face a longer clutch install and trust me, its long enough without extra things in the way.
100%

If I had to do it over again I would definitely have done the clutch before the S/C. I have heard people that claim to be able to do it without removing the blower, but I have no firsthand knowledge of it.

I'm only making 325rwhp and get all kinds of slip at high rpms when the stock clutch gets hot. I would do a clutch even with the stock CT or VT setup.

For reals. But dont get the competition clutch stage 2. Smells like crap, engages weird, and chatters alot. I hear great things about Clutch Masters.
My Competition Clutch (stage 2) just went to hell in a hand basket the other day. Cracked into pieces.... I am gonna go with the ACT setup myself...
