I also have the SOS clutch kit. Takes a few days to get used to but overall it feels like stock. No chatter at all here

Just use the oem disc with the act pp. no chatter at all. Oem disc so engages exactly like stock and holds more torque than the SOS kit.

Yeah but it can chatter and doesn't hold what the act pp does so don't get what the advantage to using the SOS is. Unless its cheaper I guess.

I can get the ACT clutch $70 cheaper than the SOS kit, and it holds 83 more ft/lb...chatter doesn't bother me...sounds like the best deal to me

Sorry if I missed it...Which ACT PP are people using in conjunction with the OEM disc? The HD?

ACT pressure plate is fudgekin expensive! I just checked the prices, and it seems like you can get an entire clutch kit for cheaper than just a pressure plate if you can deal with a little noise. Such is life.

Cheapest I've found it is mid $400's. It does seem a little pricey, since the whole clutch kit can be had for just a few dollars more. Even still, $450 + $100 for an OEM disc is not a bad price for a good clutch setup, that not only holds power, but drives like stock.

I have about 1000 miles now on the Competition Stage 2 Clutch and Flywheel. I really like the feel, but the noise is pretty bad. My girl was asking me what that was while driving with the top down. Also the bearing the kit came with sounded like it had sand in it as it spun, so the shop used an OEM bearing. If this holds up I think its worth it, since I don't mind the noise.
