Default clutch kit decision.

hey guys,

im due for a new clutch.

does anyone have any ideas on what to go with.

i track my car but its also a daily driver. i do drive my car pretty hard sometimes on street and oem clutch when warmed up just dies...

i dont want a button clutch but want something that will deal with all driving conditions.

what do people think of stage 2 exedy?

and is stage 3 hyper single a button clutch??

any comments would be mint!

thanks.

I've done 16 track days over the past three years with the clutch that was in the car when I bought it. 38k miles then, 86k miles now, it's never been a problem.

For OEM hp levels, OEM clutch *should* be fine, unless you're *launching* it hard (which I never do).

Heel and toe will save your clutch big time in track days.....I don't wanna assume the wrong case for you but I am just saying....

I have a competition clutch that I DD. I took me a good week to get used to but it really isn't too bad once your left foot is used to it. It is a stage 4, six puck clutch. umm, ceramic and sprung i believe. It is overkill for a stock motor but I am planning to boost later so bought it in advance.

thanks for bot comments. much appreciated.

i am thinkin of getting a little more power later on. im not really interested in getting the oem clutch as some days when its necessary to launch i want to.

the 6 puk might be a little much maybe for me.....

is the hyper single stage 3 a button clutch??? (exedy)

does anyone have any comments on these First F1 clutches....... why are they so much cheaper than exedy.... are they just a waste of time?

there are 2 many options and need to make up my mind.

want something good for daily use when i feel like givin it some and good for track. and will not over heat and have a sook.

thanks again boys!

cheers

Or ACT pressure plate with oem disc?
