Default Which combo would you do and why?

The Q300 and test pipe w/CEL can be had for $690 shipped. But then I was thinking that perhaps a CAI like the AEM V2 paired with the test pipe would give better gains. I could do all 3, but if the AEM and test pipe gains would be better, then I may skip the Q300.

You will gain only noise either way. Very little power to be gained without tuning for the mods. I suggest saving up for a complete package with engine management if your looking for real power gains. If noise is all your after either mod will do the trick. If you want real power save for a supercharger or turbo. Even with the best bolt ons and tuning your only gonna pick up 10-20 hp at best. Trust me on this. I spent thousands on NA mods to only get louder. I finally sold all that shit and got a gt35. Now I have POWER.

Plan further ahead than this. If you think this simply, you'll most likely regret it down the road.

Can our cars be tuned on a dyno by a shop familiar with our cars without me having to buy a Kpro, Hondata, AEM engine management, etc?

If you have a 2002 you must buy a kpro, aem ems, haltech, etc in order to tune.

It was expensive and hard to swallow at first, but I have no regrets.

If you ever decide on a turbo or super, the ems will be a major upgrade to the piggyback boxes + fmu or you can buy tuner kits and will be lower cost

Why not buy a gently used exhaust? You help the s2k community out by keeping the money and parts between owners

They get some cash and you get some nice parts at a better price then new

Just an idea

I would rather buy a used one for $0.65 on the dollar if one pops up. I do keep my eye out on the classifieds.
