Default Considering a couple mods...

i am currently tryin to get a short ram for my car but i also want an air duct for my car. would any intake fit in the air duct? if not which intake would fit?

i was considering on the 5zigen pro racer a spec for my car because i really want a single but i use it for daily commute so i wanted a quiet single. any suggestions on quiet singles that are cost friendly

i doubt you are going to be able to find a single that is quiet unless our definition of quiet differs a lot. As for an intake, I have a K&N FIPK and love it. YOu may be able to get a cooling plate to route some more air to your air filter with that one. Good luck man.

There are 2 quiet singles you can get. The T1R EM limited and the ASM singles. They're probably the quietest singles you can get

I've been running the J's Racing 60 RS single for about a year now. Its louder than stock, but still pretty quiet. I've been stuck at stoplights next to cops, and they haven't paid any attention. At full throttle, it gets loud! This is an awesome exhaust system!

Happy hunting,

Harrrrry is right. I have the T1R-70REM Limited and it is the quietest 70mm single I have heard. There's no drone at cruising speeds yet it still talks the talk when you get on it. Perfect balance IMHO. I also have the AEM CAI V1 which adds to the good sound.

The J's Racing 60rs is pretty sweet but the T1R-EM does seem like a good choice. Depends on the look you want to. They are very different.

The Pro Racer cat back is pretty rare on an S and from a clip I saw it didn't seem too loud. According to Best Motoring the dB readings at idle/free rev to 3K/WOT driving were:

OEM: 64.8 / 91.4 / 98.6
Pro Racer: 65.3 / 93.3 / 109.4
Legalis R: 65.8 / 92.7 / 104.2

That vid is all over YouTube BTW.

i am selling my j's 60 rs if you are intersted- i love it, great exhaust, you can still have a conversation at 9k. can't do that with too many exhausts.
