My Seibon plate was a father's day gift from my son, about $240... Nice weave, perfect clearcoat.
You'd be surprised at how many people have never seen real CF before. Plenty ohs and ahs when I pop hood.

I have heard that Church automotive tuner was telling people that cooling plates block necessary air-flow over the the engine to cool the coil-packs.

I don't know how much this affects the coil-pack temp but I hope its not drastic...

Here is a link discussing it from s2katlanta

Can someone elaborate on this? There isn't really airflow over the engine to begin with because there is a stock cooling plate.

Yeah the engine bay when moving has lots of air circulation to begin with. The stock cooling plate, is to keep the air directed at the radiator. I moved mine and did not ever go above the 3 bars still. There is still a huge amount of air going right to the radiator as the front of the car is wide open for air. I would not worry in the slightest bit about not enough cooling for the radiator or engine by removing the stock cooling plate.
The AUT style cooling plates allows some air to go over the radiator and to the air filter and also to the engine bay giving some air circulation there as well.

Are you freakin serious? You don't think that the SPARK PLUG COVER blocks airflow over the coil packs?

Everyone! I wasn't trying to make it a hostile post at all.

I am especially troubled by the fact that Church Automotive, a "reputable" tuner, would not be able to observe that a stock piece on the engine completely blocks airflow over the coil packs.

The cusco radiator plates are about $125ish shipped. Talk to Mike @ bulletproofautomotive, he'll send ya one within a week.
