I have the Garage Defend with the FIPK. Butt dyno says it helps.
It really helps with heat soak.

Thew other benefit of the rad plate is that it better directing the air through the radiator, decreasing turbulence/smoothing the air/limiting "dirty air" and essentially drag + doesn't push up on the hood making it safer.

Good mod imho, especially at high speed.

Would the stock plate need to be removed as I will be installing a Seibon cooling plate this weekend. I have read on this forum and the arguments are back and forth to leave the stock on when installing the the aftermaket plate.

I tested my AUT cooling plate for shits and giggles when I was dyno tuning my car. To my surprise, the intake temp fell a considerable amount, and that was only with a fan blowing at the intercooler. Actually driving would yield even better results.
