Great review! We sell these, but wasnt sure if they would fit in the S2k. How is the fitment on the center console?

And I never thought I'd find reasonably priced seats for my 2001. Thanks!

So if I buy these seats, and buddyclub rails I'm good to go? No modifications nessescary? Other than the seatbelt extension? Let me know. Also how bad does it hit the door?

Awesome review. Thank you very much for sharing, do you happen to know if they offer a seat like this in their lineup but isn't fixed back?
Also, not sure if I missed it but what rails did you use?

Edit: I spotted, Buddy Club rails.
Aside from eBay, I'm curious if other vendors here such as Evasive, Kami, etc. offer this setup (with the reclining back option).

I forgot about this thread and these seats. I would assume that you can pull the cover off and slightly remove some of the fiberglass on the wing closest to the door panel to avoid it touching. I think these are FIA approved too, right? If so, that is a hell of a price for these.

if you remove fiberglass i think the seat cover wouldn't fit as nicely? idk

Perhaps. I doubt much of the material will have to be removed, so it's likely that the cover won't be terribly loose. It's a better alternative to having a ding/dent in a door panel, in my opinion.

Hopefully the OP can update the thread with pics showing how close the seat comes in contact with the door panel.

true, if it just rests on the door i'm fine with that, but seems like nobody really gives a straightfoward answer.

trying to buy these this weekend, hope op responds
