Default CR rack stiffener question

Has anyone installed this on their non CR and noticed a difference? It's fairly cheap and I'd like to throw one on since my rack is being replaced anyway.

I have a 00 AP1. I'm pretty sure that the holes are there on the AP2 chassis for this to bolt on...but does it just bolt into the AP1 also? Is this something fairly easy to do while replacing the rack or would be shop be justified to charge me a good amount of labor??

It seems like it just bolts right in...

thanks for any help.

All the testimonies I've seen have said that they can't tell a difference with one installed. Many people end up removing it and reselling it.

^^ I agree with that; I cant really tell if it does anything.

It's a very easy install; the rack doesnt even have to be out to do it, nor does the car need to be lifted off the ground. I think it took me 15 minutes to install.

Ohh, the holes are the same holes the steering rack uses to attach the car.

have it on my ap1. fits fine, as said before. however, note that there is one attachment point that is not present, unless you own the actual CR car--there is a hole in the middle of one piece that should connect to your frame. it is there to fix the whole assembly to the frame and thus completely boxes in all the connection points. so, you will not be able to install it exactly as it would be on a real CR.
