koni yellows have very stiff rebound capabilities. the compression is comparable to stock.

overall a very good quality shock for an oem suspension, with higher rebound performance.

I did NOT install the rear CR bar. I only installed the front bar.

I have a little bit of buyer's remorse about the Koni Yellows. They are great for street use, since they allow you to lower the car about 3/4" on the stock springs, and you can tune the handling characteristics a bit by adjusting remound rates, but they are pretty inadequate for competition IMHO. I wish I had purchased a set of double adjustable coilovers.

i agree, but i don't see the oem suspension being much better for competition compared to koni's. in fact koni's have an advantage with the higher rebound force.

you can have the koni's revalved to competition spec.

but you would really fare better upgrading to higher spring rates along and go coilover or revalved koni's.

The Koni's have internal reservoirs, which are probably too small for track events. They will probably overheat, and become soft.

Meh. Koni is a decent compromise. I think that they wear too fast compared to the Bilsteins, but both brands can be easily upgraded to pretty serious racing levels. They are NOT racing shocks, but for 400usd for 4, about the 1/3 cost of 1 Moton, they will work.

Back to the OP. I have the CR front bar and it is great: helps on the street and nicely balanced even with the stock rear. Easy to install and a screaming good value for anything but SCCA Stock class.

last question,
Do Bilsteins make shocks that work witht the oem springs? like the koni yellows, I couldn't figure that out on there website.
Thanks,

i don't think so.

i believe koni is really the only option as far as replacing oem shocks and using oem springs.
