Default CR Wing

I am assuming that the CR wing will just bolt on like a regular OEM AP2 wing correct? Just want to check.

it bolts into the middle, i dont think it'll be like the oem wing. Also i believe that the CR has a different design trunk to better suit the wing. like reinforced.

You'll actually need to cut a couple holes in the reinforcement frame in order to get to the bolts that will hold the wing to the trunk.

Do some searching...I think RadioZero or jphish have some pics posted of their install.

The difference, the OEM AP2 wing installs on the outside of the trunk. The CR is towards the middle. The trick with CR is using large washers underneath the trunk. It helps it hold on to the sheet metal of the trunk so it won't fly off when you hit 150 mph.

Actually ... when there is Typhoon, I am a bit worried that the wing would ripoff

I'm sure it can take the speed when the wind is coming from the front of the car ... but i wonder what happens if the wind is flying left and right in a Typhoon ... hence, I keep the car home if the typhoon's really bad hehe (I have the CR wing)

can't you just buy a CR trunk? i mean thats more cost but i'm sure it'd save you from the typhoon

What would be a good way to fix the holes if you have the AP1 spoiler.
