Default Customizing Invidia N1 V3

Would it be possible to convert my Invidia N1 V3 dual into a 3" and keep my same mufflers and everything else.

I love my invdia n1 to get a 3 inch single. I was wondering the same thing too.. but i think that it wouldnt be too hard if you weld a 3inch pipe/flange all the way through to the mufflers.

But even with the 3 inch i think the power gains wouldnt change, maybe even lose power...

no power loss going to a 3inch, only power gain. anything past the header is restriction...

just replace the piping from the header/cat/3" TP back to where it splits.. then it would be HEADER -> CAT/TP -> 3" PIPING -> SPLIT to mufflers?

You wouldn't get any performance benefit other than being a little lighter from the money spent. Anything you left from the original exhaust would still be the original diameter and hence being just as much of a restriction. You actually could lose power due to turbulence from different pipe sizes

Well I was planning on getting it made from the header back and just weld on those mufflers so wouldn't that be basically everything original? or what about the inner diameter of the muffler is it too small to add the bigger piping? If not then there is no way it could not add power.

The inner diameter of the muffler and cat is what will cause it to not make power. Even if you run without a cat if you increase all the piping and then the old mufflers have a smaller inside diameter then that will be the cork in your system. It can't flow any faster than the limiting factor in your system. Now the mufflers could potentially be a bigger inside diameter than the rest of the original exhaust in which case it could work but otherwise your pretty much stuck.
