agreed, Q300 does not sound so good. $100 is enough to get some lengths of tubing and bends. I'm curious to see this.

I'll try to post a vid tomorrow. If my wife can't find my recorder I'll buy a new one or use my iPhone. I have a BendPak exhaust pipe bender and keep 20-30 ft of stainless on hand for this very reason.

Agreed with this, both of Tanabe's catbacks are really refined sounding and definitely on the quiet side.

Best DD exhaust systems would be T1R em dual, Greddy Spectrum Elite, or HKS super sound master!

If you ever get a chance to ride in an S2000 with one of my systems, you should take it! You would forget all about those systems you mentioned.

I'm partial to Mugen AP2.

Gern-pipe wasn't available then.

Just for clarity, I was actually referring to my full system (Gern-Pipe + Dingle).

I have the Q300, have ridden in an s with the N1, and have heard Gernby's car.

I don't blame anyone for wanting to get rid of their N1. The one I rode in was painful (and it was just for a few miles).

Given the price, I think the Q300 is a great sounding and looking system (no cans). The drone is minimal and easily controlled if it gets to you(I kind of like it).

Are there better systems? Sure......for more $$ (that's where Gernby comes in).

His car sounded great. His build quality bordered on a work of art (got to see under his car, and he removed his rear bumper).

For affordable, the Q300 is nice. If $$ isn't an factor (which it is), Gernby all the way.
