I'm looking for a quiet exhaust in low RPMs but then when I get into higher RPMs it has a deep tone. I don't really want it to be stupid loud at this point, just to have a deeper tone than stock. I'm not looking to attract the 5-0.

After reading everyone's comment so far it seems like Tanabe Medallion is the way to go, but I'm still open to suggestions.

Gernby's exhaust is tempting but I'm not willing to drop 2K on an exhaust system at this point.

I have nothing but praise for Gernby's tuning work and everything he has/does is quality so I suggest giving in a consideration.

Please don't go too cheap when buying exhaust. At the end of the day, you're not gonna regret money spent on quality and properly engineered stuff, and a bit more spent will not be remembered down the road. Just cut back on your coffee/smoke break

Also if you want another suggestion, add Fujitsubo to your list.Quiet idle, quiet tuned sound when below VTEC, but deep and tuned sound in VTEC / engine racing AND make some power in the useful mid-range. Great product.

I definitely love my Backyard Special Exhaust with the two resonator removed. It is definitly dailiable without the resonator as that exhaust are only 5 decible louder then stock with it. without it its a lovely tone and i get complement everywhere and doesnt bother me. Drone wise it is barely there

SummerDream's comment about not going too cheap is dead on. If budget is an issue, seriously consider used. If you buy from a local owner you may even get to hear it beforehand.

unless you're dead set on going aftermarket, the UK mod is the cheapest route and sounds great.
