Default debadging

hey i was just wondering what your opinions are on taking the front "h" symbol off and replacing it with one of the license plate plugs. i took the one off the trunk lid and did it and it looks cleaner but do you think it would look ugly with the front?

are the holes the same distance apart to fit the bumper plug? do you have pictures of the trunk lid? I would think it might look awkward.

Lay some fiber glass behind it or something that will be a hard backing, then fill in the holes with bondo, get it flush with bumper than paint.

Don't take it off unless you plan to shave the holes.

i would either fill in the holes and repaint or dont touch it - the idiot who owned my car previously removed it and didnt fill. looks super shitty.

How would you cover the 2 holes under the emblem with a single bumper plug?

I am in the process of shaving my emblem hole. The guy who owned the car prior to me messed up the area by using some sort of super glue to attach the emblem on the bumper. It ruined the paint. It also has an indentation in the area. I may also do the license plate holes.

You will need:

3M Bumper Repair Kit $6
Plastic Adhesion Promoter $9
Felxible Primer $9
Basecoat $19
Clearcoat $8
Asst. Sandpaper Kit $6

You can get all of this at automotive touchup.com.
