I have an 01 and when I bought it there were racing harnesses. I bought 06 seats with buckles, and 01 seatbelts. Well, they don't fit... do all 00-05 seatbelts interchange and then 06+ is different, like the seats? Trying to find the right buckle.....

someone with an ap2 help this person out, take a pic of the belt and post it up!

 

You should look for the AP1 buckle section to work with your belts.

Also, the 2006 seat has the buckle attached to the seat but that is not correct for the AP1 system. Just a heads up and good luck.

The end of the belt assembly attaches to the inner structure of the car and not the seat like on the AP2, pretty much like the driver's side.

 

I got confused reading these posts, so to be clear, the AP1 belt bolts to the body on the left side of the driver, the receptacle is bolted to the seat rail.

And yes, AP1/AP2 belt buckle tongues are different sizes.
