Default DIY Convertible Strap Replacement

I needed to replace my convertible straps on my 2000 S2000. I found the modifry straps and saw they were discontinued and decided to make my own. I've never used the modifry straps so I don't know how these compare to them. I thought I would share the results here for anyone that wanted to make it themselves.

These are links to the parts I used from Amazon:
The total was approx $15 plus tax

I have plenty of leftover supplies to use in future years to come. See the attached pdf for all the instructions.

Nice job but you made me look at Modifry too as I read, from his website, that the strap production would continue. I found this today.

Yes indeed. I checked a week ago and they were out of stock. Then I checked back a few days later and they were in stock again and I ordered a pair. Should be here any day now.

Thank you for posting these instructions. I just finished making the straps and replacing them and they seem great.

Glad it worked out. My straps are still going strong since I made mine so they hold up well.
