To answer your questions guys...

-No, the windscreen mount design has not changed since the release of the product. (that I know of).. I was simply stating that I have had one of the original Modify mounts from the early days...
I do believe now that he had a dual windscreen mount setup also... just an FYI for you track junkies hehe

-The Modifry windscreen camera mount, does not need a wide-angle lens.. I use my regular point and shoot on it sometimes, mostly my video cameras, and even a couple of times, threw my Canon Rebel up on there.. hehehe

I'd say it is the best camera mount out there for the money.. HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I SAW HE HAS A LOW PROFILE version...wonder if the regular would be better since its higher up?

I've got Modifry's windscreen mount with a bullet camera mounted. Works great.

Rugsr, if you can wait until the WNY autocross season starts up, you can take a look at my set up.
