Default The dolebludger mod

Hi everyone, im planning on doing the Doleblunder mod soon. i am about to pick up an AUT cooling plate. I need help making the air scoop. What material would i use or make this air scoop. I tried to search for awhile and i cant figure out how to make the scoop and connect it. I found this thread but it doesnt say what scoop did he use.

maybe fiberglass to make the scoop, i have no clue only a guess. regardless i would assume it would be strong enough since other have made scoops and snorkels using it.

Should I buy a fiberglasses snorkel from ebay and cut it and maybe bolt it to the bottom of the aut? I have no clue how to even do this.

Anyone that has done this mod before that could chime in and help?

if your buying a snorkel you should probaly skip purchasing the aut cooling plate and definately dont cut a snorkel. This mod seems to be copy the general idea of what a snorkel would do (the snorkel probaly works better though). Making this mold and what not, maybe a bit difficult. you may be better off purchasing a snorkel, I'm sure some sponsors carry em for relatively cheap check the forum market place. however you may need to cut your hood to make it fit. If you set on this home made snorkel thing with the aut cooling plate you can always try to pm the guy who created it.

i like the look of the aut plate but i want the function of the snorkel too. I found the mod and it seemed like a dream come true but it seem really confusing to make it. What do you mean cut my hood? like cut a hole through it like vents? or just cut a hole on the inside and doesnt go through the hood?
Good idea! i will pm the person who invented it. i hope he answer back, i cant seem to find out how he made it

I think your better off with a snorkel but if you set on teh aut plate i guess you could potentially cut up a snorkel. NO cutting through the hood just cut in the inside to allow the hood to shut. If you search i'm sure you'll find what i'm talking about. I hope the inventor of this mod can help you.
