Koni yellows imo are much better than most of the cheaper coilovers out there. Once you get up to the $2000 coilovers that would be true but I'd pick them over any f the cheaper coilover sets in a heartbeat.

I currently have a set of BC coilovers, stage 2 clutch, light weight flywheel, drilled and slotted brake rotors. It DESTROYS canyons.

Drilled and slotted? Wow. The lack of braking surface area must be a phonemail upgrade!

After I put the Swift Spec R springs on the car I noticed on one canyon that I now scrape certain parts of the road. That definitely made handling worse.

What about that time you put your car into a mountain wall? I just don't get it, what is your agenda?

That said, there is a ton of bad information in this thread. I won't argue with that.

To the OP. Are you currently on standard AP1 wheels/tires? You will see a big difference going to 17" wheels and a 225/255 tire setup. You can get Bilstien PSS9 Coilovers for a great price. Not much else in that price range that will be better. Tires are obviously the most important factor. I would highly recommend the Bridgestone RE-11A or Dunlop Direzza ZII. You can't really go wrong with either, both will be an excellent jump up from the S-02s.

For brakes just stick to standard OEM blank rotors and upgrade the pads and brake fluid. I like Project µ HC+800 for the touge and Project µ brake fluid. ATE is decent for the price, but it is no where near higher quality brake fluids like Motul RBF 600/660, Endless RF650, Project µ G-four 335, or Castrol SRF. You will pay quite a bit more for the latter options but it should also last you much longer with almost no concern of boiling over.

I'm currently running the car the way I bough it. With stock rims and tires, stock shocks and has M2 springs which I would have never installed but for looks its good(but I'm not going for looks). Thanx for all the input guys really helpful, specially the tires because I know the tires make all the difference. Keep em coming.
