Just received the package today! I'll try to get some pictures and an initial review.

FYI, the unit WILL NOT fit the modifry dash bracket. although the holes may line up, The OBD2 cable that plugs into the DD is in the back and would require cutting a hole in the bracket. Also, there's not enough room between the bracket and the dash to have the plug there. So far now I'm just using the suction cup thingy to mount it like a navi. It actually works well by the bottom driverside corner of the windshield. the cable is hidden in between the door and left side of dash and under to the OBD port. I'll get some pics soon...

here's another update on the 'Skin Editor" that they are currently working on so that we can customize our own gauges and colors and many other things,

Was that with the 4" or the 3"? I was looking at this closely on all the pics... Isn't there two ports on the back to plug into? Can you use the one on the outside with some cutting?

Also I think you can bend the modifry out a little.

Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of the suction mount at all.

The editor looks pretty cool.

Edit: Hmm looks like the connectors on the back are different from each other. I'm guessing the one on the outside is for an AEM???

How about using some threaded standoffs to move the unit further away from the bracket? How deep is the connector (how far does it protrude) from the back of the unit, when plugged in?

I think it is the AEM one on the outside. If so, it could work still...

Would the 3" work or too short?

It protrudes about an inch before the cable starts to bend. I see what you're saying about extending the unit closer to you. I was hoping for a solution that would allow me to take it out of the car without having to unscrew anything since it's my daily driver.
I'm going to try to take better pictures in the daytime, my camera sucks at night.

I'm going to try to find a good combo here:

i did take pictures yesterday but didn't have time to upload them. I got home and left for the SFV meet. I'll do it when I get home from work today.

btw, if the AEM uses the other connection on the outer edge, there's no problem with having enough room. Although it looks very clean, the only thing (for me) is that it would be screwed on and I'd like the option of taking in and out with ease especially with this summer heat!

I should be receiving the mounts today, I'll see what I can come up with since i was just reminded that anything mounted on the windshield/line of sight is illegal

I finally uploaded the pics. this is only with the suction mount that it comes with.

Night shots:

Day shots. I liked this position because it was easy to hide the wire as you can see in the first pic:

but from the outside
