Default Engine Torque Damper Useful?

Is it worth while to install an engine torque damper on a stock setup with these? The power train is admittedly a little rougher than I expected before owning one, but wasn't sure if a torque damper would be worth the money. Thoughts?

Rougher how? If there's excess vibration check your engine mounts. The damper is good for reducing some of the stress on the factory mounts to increase their longevity, I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes in the driveability/performance. I haven't really noticed the difference when I take it off for autocross.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting it but noticed a huge difference when I installed mine. I would get a "shock" from the rear end when hard shifting at redline and it's completely gone after install. Shifting is also noticeably smoothly and just driving in general seems smoother and more comfortable.

I have NRG damper now (only way to have PLM header on RHD without it rubbing on steering shaft in corners) ..and its noticeable difference when shifting (it feels bit more precise). I used to have hardrace engine mounts (softest you can get apart from OEM) and those felt way more harsh (vibration at idle)

i've got a difference.
not huge but it's definitely there.
i can't say it introduced excessive vibrations.

My shifting is a bit smoother with an Ingalls damper.
