Default Exhaust

What are the best pieces: header, test pipe, mufflers, etc... To combine for the best performance gains?

It would be a good idea to start going through some of these threads: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=634341

Are you looking for name brand names or are you asking which of those will best suit your power needs??

I'm guessing you want to know the names of power proven brands.. I'm biased on these two but Berk Technology test pipe and K&N FiPK intake (I have both)

And how did they work for you? Was there a noticeable gain?

Not worth the money, to do all of it. If you want the best performance get a single exhaust for the weight loss. Otherwise if I were you, and going with a dual, I would just pick by favourite sounding exhaust.

I see.. So what if i decided to put a small shot of nitrous or something.. then would it be a good idea to change the header and stuff.. Or is the stock exhaust good enough?

I haven't dyno'd my car but I've seen dyno sheets from both mods on bone stock s2000's and they both made around a 5/6 whp increase up top and some nice mid range numbers.. Like 9/10 whp.. They also both made some nice torque numbers on the stock tune..

I'd reccoment both of them.. A lot of people run the AEM v2 intake also with nice gains.. But I live in Louisiana and my car is low.. So I didn't want to chance the hydrolock possibility

Hah, nitrous. Not sure... Couldnt tell you on that one.

I can tell you though, some people have spent thousands of dollars on bolt ons, and only gained 15 hp to the wheel. Bolt ons arent usually a good way to go. Getting a better gear ratio, and nitrous (as you mentioned) is usually the best bang for your buck NA.
