why cold start? just wondering
id like to see if its neighbor friendly or not before I commit to it..
It's very neighbor friendly. I posted a small review but at this point I think it's equal or not far off from the stock 350z's exhaust sound. It sounds absolutely beautiful and exotic, not ricey or jarringly loud. If this was an aftermarket exhaust, I would actually think that some people would be pissed off that it was too close to stock in terms of dB level. I mean it's loudER but by no means would I consider this a "loud" exhaust. Maybe with a test pipe but I dont know.. mine still has stock cats and stock resonator, stock intake with lid.

very quiet. the uk exhaust mod at cold start is similar to stock, not really louder at all

I really love the tone but I cant hear a difference when the top is up lol. Is there even a change? Lol
naw seriously i can hear a little bit and on the outside it's more noticeable but I want it louder.
How loud would it get with a test pipe or resonator removed? i gotta figure out how to run a tp in cali lol the popo crazy here

lol yeah top up and windows up, exactly like stock. but i've let a friend drive my car and there's definitely a difference. and when me and a few friends go cruising, when they have their windows down they can hear my car (of course they have stock exhaust). i want to go louder as well, but i'm just going to save up for an exhaust. i think i've heard a s without a resonator, not to crazy about how it sounds. sounds kinda bad too me

this guy has a hfc with his exhaust mod, so i guess it gives you an idea of what it could sound with a testpipe

The funny thing is... I haven't heard ANY aftermarket exhaust that sounds better than the UK exhaust mod. 90% of aftermarket exhausts either sound just like stock, or WAYYYY too ricey and obnoxious. Call me old fashioned... LOL.

i just received a $250-300 quote from a local "performance" shop as well, but it's for TIG welding. Haven't tried going to an exhaust shop yet...

Did everyone who paid $60-100 get TIG as well?
